Lancashire born, Tim went to boarding school before attending the University of Liverpool to study biochemistry. He eventually took a route into accounting, starting his career as a graduate within financial management in Norwich Health Authority. He found his way back to Lancashire as Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Finance at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, before joining CWP in 2013 as Director of Business and Value. In May 2022, Tim was appointed Chief Executive.
Tim has worked within the NHS for over 28 years, with over 18 years experience as a Director. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, Tim has led various workstreams across the Cheshire & Merseyside finance community.
